Our Mission

Because faith should be talked about — not tiptoed around.

A Minister, a Vicar and a Punter Walk Into a Bar was born from a simple idea: that the best conversations about faith often happen outside the church walls — over coffee, or yes, sometimes over a pint.

We want to create space for honest, down-to-earth conversations about life and belief — the bits that inspire us, confuse us, make us laugh, or make us think twice.

Our mission is to:

  • Bridge the gap between the church and everyday life.

  • Ask real questions about faith, doubt, and the world around us.

  • Create community through conversation — in pubs, living rooms, or wherever you listen.

  • Encourage openness — because faith isn’t fragile, and honest discussion only makes it stronger.

Each episode aims to make theology approachable, spark curiosity, and remind us that faith is at its best when it’s lived, shared, and spoken with warmth and humour.

We hope our listeners will not just tune in, but join in — using our shorter clips and conversation questions in their own groups and gatherings.

So whether you’re a minister, a vicar, a punter, or somewhere in between…
you’re welcome at the table.
